This Parmesan Lemon Chicken is an easy dinner recipe that's ready in just 30 minutes. Tender chicken is coated in a crispy layer of Parmesan cheese and seasonings and then topped with a zesty, garlic lemon sauce!
2largeboneless, skinless chicken breasts(cut in half lengthwise to form four pieces)
1tablespoonolive oil
1tablespoonunsalted butter

2teaspoonsminced garlic
¾cupchicken broth
¼cuplemon juice(or juice from 2 large lemons)
2tablespoonsgrated parmesan cheese

For the Chicken:
In a shallow bowl or dish, add flour, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge each chicken piece on both sides with flour mixture and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted. Add the chicken and cook on both sides until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side (chicken should reach an internal temperate of 165℉). Remove chicken to a separate plate and set aside.
For the Parmesan Lemon Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth and lemon juice and stir to combine. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until combined and melted.
Add chicken back to skillet and spoon sauce over chicken. Heat for 1-2 minutes, or until chicken is warmed through. Serve immediately.
Notes
Leftover chicken will last in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
