Easy Cheesy Baked Tortellini with Meat Sauce is fast, flavorful, and ready in no time. Filled with cheesy tortellini, meat sauce, and sprinkled with cheese, this simple casserole is perfect for the whole family!
1package(20 ounce) refrigerated cheese tortellini (frozen also works, see note below)
2teaspoonsdried oregano
2teaspoonsdried thyme
Salt and pepper(to taste)
1½cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
¼cupgrated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large skillet, add ground beef, minced onion, and minced garlic and brown and crumble ground beef until no longer pink. Drain, wipe skillet if needed, and return beef to skillet.
Add sauce, tortellini, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper to skillet. Stir thoroughly to combine. Spread evenly into prepared dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Cover dish with foil.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
If using frozen tortellini: there is no need to defrost before using; just run under warm water and pat dry. The tortellini will cook in the oven.
This dish will last in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
