These Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are simple to prepare and made with just five ingredients. By using a boxed cake mix, these bars bake up soft, chewy, and are loaded with chocolate!
Preheat oven to 350℉. Grease a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray and set aside. Alternatively, you can use an 8x8 pan for thicker bars.
In a large mixing bowl, add cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir well to combine and then fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be thick!
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan using a spatula. Bake for 18-22 minutes (for a 9x13 pan) or 20-25 minutes (for an 8x8 pan), or until top of cake is slightly browned and toothpick inserted into center comes out mostly clean. Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Leftover bars will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
