Instant Pot Beef Stew

Tender beef, potatoes and carrots are tossed in a savory gravy that’s ready in less than an hour. This easy meal will quickly become a dinner time favorite all year long!

• Beef stew meat

ingredients

• Tomato paste

• Worcestershire sauce

• Baby potatoes

• Carrots

1.

Sear the beef stew meat or a chuck roast cut into chunks in some olive oil and spices.

2.

After the meat is seared on all sides, add some beef broth (I used a low sodium kind to reduce the salt) and scrape the bottom of the pot.

3.

Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine. Cook as directed in the recipe card below.

4.

Once the timer goes off, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then do a quick release. Remove the lid and discard the bay leaf.

5.

If you prefer thicker gravy, combine some cornstarch and water in a small bowl and then stir into the stew.
