Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse
This Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse is light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. It’s an easy dessert that will impress your Valentine’s sweetheart!
Do you ever notice how stores start advertising holidays earlier and earlier every year?
I always see Christmas decorations start to pop up in July and Valentine’s Day goodies show up around the end of December. Is it too much to ask that we let the proper holidays come and go first?
I mean, I get that stores need to promote those holidays in advance, but really. Let’s have the other holidays in between have their moment to shine first. Then we can move onto the other holidays. Like Valentine’s Day!
I’ve mentioned this before, and I’ll say it again, just in case you weren’t following Pumpkin ‘N Spice around this time last year. I’m pretty indifferent about Valentine’s Day. I don’t love, but I don’t hate.
And I don’t really need to celebrate it in an elaborate way. Sure, I love when the hubster gives me a sweet card or flowers, but it’s just another Hallmark holiday. Kind of like Sweetest Day (although that holiday, I really don’t get!).
The hubster and I don’t go out for an elaborate date or super fancy meal. Although that wouldn’t be unwelcomed, I much prefer our tradition of ordering a heart-shaped pizza. We’ve done this for the past four years on Valentine’s Day, and it’s something that I always look forward to!
We’ve had some heart-shaped pizza winners, and some sad looking hearts, which looked more like blobs. So I’m hoping this year will be a winner!
And along with our heart-shaped pizza, I thought it would be a fun to have a Valentine’s themed dessert. This Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse is light, creamy, and bursting with flavor. It’s an easy dessert that will impress your Valentine’s sweetheart!
Who can say no to Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse, right? There’s just something about the word “mousse” that automatically takes me to fancy desserts in pricey restaurants.
But this mousse is anything but expensive! With just five ingredients and a few minutes of prep work, you can have this simple dessert ready in no time.
To make this cheesecake mousse, I reached for my cream cheese of choice: Dutch Farms. I’ve made about a zillion recipes with their products and always trust their quality, fresh ingredients. So it was basically a no-brainer to incorporate their cream cheese into this dessert.
So if you’re looking for an easy, make-ahead dessert that is guaranteed to be a winner on Valentine’s Day (or any other day), then grab those ingredients and make this Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse!

I love strawberris, but I don’t usually like strawberry flavours things, as they are usually so artificial. But this is made with actual strawberries, so I think I would love this.
I think you would love this, Dannii! The strawberry flavoring comes from real strawberries only, so it tastes very fresh! 🙂
Hey, a heart-shaped pizza seems pretty festive to me! Any time alone spent with a loved one is the best. Fancy dinners don’t compare to dinner in PJs!
This is so clever. I love it! And it would chase that pizza perfectly.
I agree…you just can’t beat pizza and a night in! 🙂 Thanks, Mir!
I’m indifferent too, Gayle! I’m hoping to make a heart shaped pizza this year and this mousse would be the perfect accompaniment!
Good luck with your heart-shaped pizza, Megan! 🙂 And thanks for the mousse love!
Heart-shaped pizza?? Now that is deliciously romantic! And love how pretty this mousse is – perfect for the day!

This definitely counts as breakfast. Thanks, Sarah!
I spent years not really caring for cheesecake and now I suddenly love it. Strawberry flavored sounds even better! This looks beautiful.
Thanks for the kind words, Sues!
SO true about companies promoting holidays way too early, so I hope you are ready to start seeing July 4th decorations in a store near you. Ha! I loooove your tradition for Vday with the hubs. After you commented that, I looked for places near me with heart shaped pizzas… couldn’t find one. Womp-womp. Guess I will have to make a dozen of these delicious mousse to make up for it! These look fabulous, Gayle! And yay to strawberry #twinning today! 😉 pinned! Cheers, friend!
Haha I’m surprised I haven’t seen 4th of July decorations out yet! 🙂 Aww maybe next year you’ll have better luck with heart-shaped pizzas! Thanks for the kind words and pin, friend!

It is such a fun tradition, Amanda! Thanks for the mousse love!
Okay, so, I’ve been craving mousse for the past few weeks. I think the only kind I’ve ever had was chocolate, but I’m more of a strawberry girl anyways. This is the perfect thing to make for Valentine’s Day or even Mother’s Day. Yum!
I think you would love strawberry mousse, Erin! It has such a light and fresh flavor. And I agree, this would be perfect for Mother’s Day, too! 🙂
This mousse looks amazing- I definitely don’t have mousse enough, nonetheless in the strawberry cheesecake flavor 🙂
Thank you, Medha! I don’t have mousse as much as I would like, either…I definitely need to change that! 🙂
Oooh I’m loving this strawberry mousse!! It’s so cute and perfect for V-Day. Heart shaped pizzas sound like such a cute and fun V-Day treat 😀

It’s funny though, because I was looking for St. Patrick’s Day decorations and baking supplies last weekend and couldn’t find any…go figure! 🙂 Thanks for the kind words, Mira!
Thanks for the mousse love, Rachel!
I kind of despise how stores always start months early with the holidays stuff too. Especially seeing all the Valentine’s Day stuff right after Christmas when I’m trying to eat better haha! This mousse looks delicious, Gayle. I love anything that involves strawberries and cheesecake too!
Isn’t it horrible? It’s funny though because I was trying to find some St. Patrick’s Day baking decor last weekend and couldn’t find much…go figure! 🙂 Thanks for the kind words, Danielle!
Mousse is one of my favorite desserts — so light and airy! I’m pretty indifferent about Valentine’s Day too but I am definitely not indifferent about dessert! Lol
Haha I’m definitely not indifferent about desserts either, especially when red and pink colors are involved! 🙂
Looks so creamy and delicious! And such a pretty color for Valentine’s Day. 🙂
I love the color, too! Thanks, Christin!
This looks so light and perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Thanks, Zainab!

I think you would love this, Summer! It’s so easy and delicious! 🙂
I love the tradition that you and your husband have! Seriously though…what is with these stores nowadays?! When I saw Valentine’s Day decorations on like December 28 I was like really?! It’s crazy. We celebrate Valentine’s Day low-key also in that we will have a nice dinner at home, or go away but try not to do the go out, movies and dinner thing. This Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse is such a nice way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Isn’t it crazy? It frustrates me that stores put out holiday decor SO early! Thanks for the kind words, Jessica!
I love your tradition of heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day! That is totally something I can get behind – my husband and I both love pizza! And this cheesecake mousse looks like it’d be the perfect way to end the day!
Thank you, Aimee!
I was just wondering what the macros was for this recipe. Thanks it’s delicuous.
Hi Daisia! Do you mean calories? I don’t have any calorie counts, as I don’t want to give people the wrong information. But there are plenty of calorie counters that you can find online. Hope this helps!
