Tips for Making Creamy Tortellini Soup
- Note that this recipe calls for condensed tomato soup. If you buy regular tomato soup, your tortellini soup will turn out too runny.
- You can use any kind of milk you’d like in this recipe. I used 2%, but anything will work!
- To make this a completely vegetarian tortellini soup, use veggie broth instead of chicken broth.

Lol. So glad you wised up about soup, G! Same here. Growing up, I was not the biggest fan of soup… I mean, it’s no pizza, right? 😉 But now that I’m older, I can definitely appreciate a great big bowl of soup with a nicely toasted slice of bread. Speaking of which, I’m now officially drooling over your creamy soup! Love the addition of tortellini and that beautiful sprinkling of toppings. If I have to spend one more second reading about how smooth and rich this is, I’ll just faint from hunger! Love it, my friend. Happy weekend! Pinned. xo
Haha soup is definitely not pizza, but it sure is comforting all the same! Thanks for the kind words and pin, friend!

I made a delicious tortellini soup recently using diced, cooked chicken, chicken broth, mire poix, tortellini and spinach served with a crunchy Pugliese bread. It was so good on a chilly day. So many ways to incorporate tortellini in soups, Yum!
