We could all use a few more of those meals…am I right? I can’t wait to fill you in on this breakfast slider recipe, but, before I do, let’s get to the tasty ingredients.
When I was shopping at Jewel-Osco a last week, I came across Smithfield® Bacon and Smithfield® Fully Cooked Sausage Patties. It caught my eye because I just happen to love Smithfield but have never tried their breakfast options before.

After heading home, I started to whip up a tasty breakfast idea that is fit for a crowd, or your family!

Not only are these Hawaiian roll breakfast sliders a breeze to make, but they can be made ahead of time so it’s easy to eat during the week. Cheesy eggs, smokey bacon, and sausage, all wrapped up in a roll and topped with garlic butter. It’s love at first bite!
By using Smithfield® Bacon and Fully Cooked Breakfast Patties, you can be sure that your sliders are full of quality ingredients. And that’s a must in my kitchen!
How to make Breakfast Sliders:
- Hawaiian slider rolls work perfectly for this recipe. However, any type of dinner roll will work. Simply slice in half horizontally and place the bottom half of rolls on a greased baking pan.
- Scramble some eggs and then spread evenly onto the bottom of the rolls in the baking dish.
- Using the same skillet, cook the bacon according to the package directions until crisp. While the bacon is cooking, warm the sausage. Layer the bacon on top of the eggs, followed by the sausage.
- Top with slices of cheese and then the tops of the slider rolls.
- Prepare the garlic butter glaze and brush on tops of rolls.
- Pop the breakfast sandwich sliders into the oven and let it work its magic.
What cheese works well with the Breakfast Sliders?
Any type of cheese is delicious! I love sharp cheddar, but swiss, Colby jack, or fontina would also be tasty.
Can the Breakfast Sliders be made ahead of time?
Absolutely! This breakfast sandwich recipe is perfect for meal prepping on the weekends. Simply make the night before and then wrap each sandwich individually and store in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Microwave until warm and devour!
Can the Breakfast Sliders be frozen?
Yes! Simply let the breakfast sandwiches cool to room temperature. Slice and wrap individually or as a whole. When ready to eat, thaw at room temperature and then microwave.

Breakfast Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian slider rolls, or other dinner rolls
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 8 eggs
- ¼ cup milk, any kind
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 slices Smithfield® Bacon
- 6 Smithfield® Fully Cooked Breakfast Patties
- 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 pan. Cut rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in prepared pan. Set aside.
- Crack eggs into a medium bowl, add milk, salt and pepper. Whisk until combined.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and heat until melted. Pour in whisked eggs and cook until scrambled. Spread eggs evenly over bottom half of rolls in pan. Set aside.
- Wipe the skillet clean and add Smithfield® Bacon. Cook until crisp, according to package directions. While bacon is cooking, heat Smithfield® Fully Cooked Breakfast Patties in the skillet or microwave until warmed through.
- Place sausage patties evenly over eggs, followed by bacon. Add cheese slices on top of bacon. Place top half of rolls over cheese
- In a small bowl, melt remaining butter (4 tablespoons). Add garlic powder and Italian seasoning and stir to combine. Brush butter mixture over tops of rolls.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately. If making ahead of time, let rolls cool completely at room temperature, then slice and wrap each roll. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
